when i go down on him that he knows what im trying to do. he says im messing with his mind also. why would he say that?

maybe he is shallow and self centered. Maybe he's under the impression that hte only reason why your going down on him is to get your way .
If he thinks your messing with his head when you do that...it only proves he only thinks with "that" head.
