I divorced In 1993, and my wife disapeared until about 2003, when all of a sudden she came at me with 18 yrs worth of back child support. How do I get free legal help. I'll never get It paid off In this life time. Are there lawyers out there that can help me get my overall payment reduced.

I have a friend that I loaned money to this week(because I thought that she needed it for her children) then I found out that that same night she went out drinking. I was so mad because I have a child too and I could have used that money for him. This just adds to the list of things that she has done to me. I feel like I want to end our friendship, but we have been friends for 10 years-even though I have been hurt by her many times. What should I do?

i have a ten month old brother and he is my world i pretty much raised him my mom was gone all the time he acts like im his mom when i leave to school they say he calls my name all day. everyhere i go everyone thinks hes mine and i dont correct them is that bad? Everything i do revolves around him im only 16 and everyone calls me a teenage mom hes might as well be mine is this a bad thing?

As a chef I am lucky to get three days off this Christmas - Christmas eve, Christmas day and boxing day. Obviously I want to spend this time with my partner of 7 years. He gets two weeks off at the same time. His mother (who lives alone) has invited us to hers for Christmas but the trin will cost us about £500 to book a ticket for travel on those days and I don't really want to spend my days off driving. Last year she came to us but now has a cataract leaving her blind in one eye and so driving is a problem and the trian cost is the same for her. My partner could travel more cheaply on different days but then I would be alone on Christmas day and I would hate that but I also don't want to think of his mum being on her own either even though part of me thinks that she's had 30 years to find somone to spend it with but is still too hung up on her ex husband to do so. Can you see a workable solution?

I was wondering what would someone do if their husband talks down to wife and disrespects her all the time and dosent show love or respect, and her kids of 20 qnd 22 call her bad names disrespct her as well. what she she do even if she hasn o where to go when mother has c omplaints about bad ehaviour of the kids dad questions the mother why she nagged them or what did she do to get them to actthat way . the mom has no where to go . so what she she do and how should she respond to this negativity in her life 24/7 oh and all are males treating her this way. and the one has a girlfriend who also cane be the same , please dont say leave because this wo man has no mo ney to go anywhere.............

My ex broke up with me cowardly about three weeks ago for another girl. Since then we have not spoken or seen each other. He really broke my heart. I love him but I really hate him. (I am working through it and moving on.) The thing is that he thinks everything is cool between us. We accumulated a lot of stuff during the relationship and it is for the most part at my apartment. He keeps texting me asking me when he can divide up our community property. I have not responded. We are not cool he is a jerk off. I don't want to see him or talk to him. I know any response from me at this point will be really b^%&y and I don't want to give him the satisfaction of knowing that I'm really hurt. What clever way can I respond that says no chance in h*ll without appearing hostile. Or should I still continue to ignore him?

My friend is cutting herself really bad but she lied to me and said her dad dug her nails into her arm and her arm looks horrible.i really believed her but i thought about it and some things didnt add up well i figured out she had lied to me , she said she could tell that her dad abused her and she want to go live wit her mom who lives on the other side of the country but her dad wont let her. im afraid she mite do something really bad to herself she talks about how she wants to commit suicide sometimes and it scares me. i dont know what to do about her im really scared. I've been told i have an awesome personality and stuff but i dont have very many friends. only like 3. Im 18, work full time, and currently taking one class in college at night cuz i gotta work (im gonna take more classes next semster but all at night). im not ugly and have good clothing style and such. im nice to everyone and i love making people happy. (but i am annoyingly Mature for my age--like a 30yr old stuck in an 18 yr old body.) but how come it seems like people still dont like me? like when i was in high school, i joined clubs and played soccer and even then it didnt seem like anyone wanted to be my friend. they barely spoke to me. i was always by myself and last to get a partner. even now, i dont have much a social life at all. i see all my college classmates having a blast and for godsake, have comments on their facebook/myspace from more than 5 different people! i will talk to people but then they treat me like im some sort of loser or something. whats the deal?

I think the long term relationship bettween a student and teacher is bad, but what do you think about just the one off, ofcourse only college years and up and as long as the age gap isn't tooooo big, i'm talking 8 years at the most age difference?
