I'm an adult, and divorced.My ex always called me fat, ugly, made fun of my body, i felt so terrible about it.It might be bad, BUT i paid a lot of attention to my face, and my ex always made fun of my face, i always wanted to kill my self.I felt like cutting my face.I NEVER did, he broke up with me.I feel much BETTER now.I remember i was little and my dad used to say in a playful way that he was going to exchange me for the neighbors little girl because
she was beautiful.I always felt sad and bad, i was 7 or 8 years old.
Today in my thirties, i feel BEAUTIFUL but men make me feel ugly.A co worker in a playful way said HI ugly, i felt like ****.i just smiled. As a teen girls didn't want to work next to me, one used to makfe faces. WHY if i feel sexy and beautiful men make me feel
ugly ??? Today i'm single, i liked a men , but i notice that he looks away when i come his way.what is wrong with me ? help me ?

I have been knowing this guy for a few months. I met him at work and we would have lunch and stuff together everyday and text and call back and forth. Well he got laid-off and I broke up with my boyfriend the same day, so we had sex that night. He has gotten a new job since then guys... A good one... Anyway, we talk or text often, both initiating the calls and he sometimes says things that make me feel like he's feeling me out. We have had sex quite a few times since then, but he's also spent the night and not had sex with me on several occasions. He sometimes says things that makes me think that he is interested in a relationship, but I don't know. I am new to this whole single thing and I don't want to just come out and ask him too soon and push him away. How could I tell him that I don't want to just have sex with him without making it seem like I am giving him an altimatum? Does he really like me?

I'm being accused of being a child's mother and about to have my wages garnished for child support. I keep telling the Friend of the Court that I am not the parent of this child. I tried providing proof and they keep insisting that I am because the real parent (mom) and I have the same name. I been fighting this since February and I'm tired of it. What would you do?

Every now and then he sends me texts like 'Hi, how are you?' or 'We'll have to meet up for a drink some time' or 'I'm in your local bar, fancy joining me?' I have always been genuinely too busy to go and meet him. I answer politely but I don't know how to take this. Do you think he is just being friendly or do you think he's after something more? In my experience, once the tradesman has done the job and got paid, that's the end of communication until you contact them again. Not sure what way to react. I'd gladly meet him if he was just being friendly but wouldnt want it to go any further. Any comments?

I think It's a misconception that it's mainly women that want to settle down and get married. In my experience, after I hit 30, all the men I meet seem very eager to settle into a serious relationship and get married. Is this true guys? Are you afraid of being left on the shelf?

I've been sleeping with him for over three years now...... He will never leave his wife and kids (please try not to be judgemental) I would not want him to... I'm trying not to call him ever so I can let it go..... I love him, I want him and he's my best friend. Every time I get to a point where I'm ok with out him.... he ends up calling me.... I've prayed for God to remove him from my life and for strength to not answer his calls-- to no avail...... what purpose could this affair possibly have????????????? except to provide momentary companionship for me (a single mom w/4 kids who does not want to bring a man into the family picture)....... and brief sexual encounters for him....
he tells me months ago he's in a bad state emotionally???? what the heck was that... he needed time... he'll explain it at a later date??? what the heck does that mean????? and why do I feel closer to him even though I've seen him way less than previously??? I guess I'm just really confused.

He has physical and mental problems now and what I found out about his past scares me now. He has lied and his family also. I have felt close to all of them. Now, I feel he is a stranger to me. I think he may make up half of his physical illnesses so he can see his doctor about the mental ones. In 4 years he has not let me meet or even know his doctor? Because of his past, I fear the future? I cannot tell all the details. He has promised to move out soon as it is financially possible. Am I wrong for wanting this stranger out? I have tried to help him 100%. Now, I don't know what is true.
