for a fall wedding u should go with the colors of the trees ..
but maybe if u really want gold and sliver try to find colors the have the same shine slik look, u white,sliver,yellow,gold/ or have them mixed with to color on them the best thing to do it go to a dress store and look at colors and just put them near echother (that is what i did with my wedding they said my colors chould not go together but they went grate and everyone loved them~!~ b/c u know some colors have different names then what we think of some are deeper and lifght .. that would be the best bet,.So u can get a better idea.

Stick with the gold.... Silver seems more of a late winter color.
I'd do Gold with reds or greens. No, really, I'd never do gold for a wedding.... sorry. I don't really like the idea. If you're doing a fall wedding I'd go with a softer yellow (but dark yellow, not light) . Black for the men, White or off white for the bride, and almost an oragne for the ladies. (not all the way to oragne just a real dark yellow)white trim. then get the yellows and golds in the flowers with lots of greenery and spots of red. good luck.

Gold and silver is NOT tacky, it can be very beautiful..... Hello, how about gold and diamonds?? That's a gold and silver based look!
I would say- in the Red family for Fall. But you might be able to do an orange.

You should NEVER put gold and silver together. That's like a rule of fashion. I suggest you go with gold to match the radiance of the falling leaves I imagine would surround a fall wedding.

Gold and silver clash so bad. They do not go together at all. Gold and dark peach would be nice for the fall.

You could use a rusty fall colour if you are looking for a fall theme, but, from catering experience, blue looks gorgeous with silver. I don't really like gold and silver together. It often looks really tacky.

I'll give you a tip on color schemes. Go to your local home improvement centre and get the charts for colors they use in the paint section. The chart has all the colors that go together or compliment each other. If you can't find the chart, just ask for it.
Some places have a wheel chart.
Good luck and have a great wedding.

I would choose either gold or silver.. not both. Gold is more fall time and silver would be winter. Maroon, burgandy, chocolate brown, sable, dark green
Silver is open to more colors in my opinion. But Gold looks Richer

I also don't like gold and silver together. I think silver would be great for winter with an icy blue or gold for fall with burnt orange.

Though I hesitate to use both silver and gold because they clash, white goes well with both, and perhaps a cranberry color.
