You havn't gotten over all your feelings for the ex-boyfriend yet but give yourself more time. If you want to ask someone else out just make sure it is because you really want to be with this other person and that you are not doing it to try to make your ex want you again. Good luck

It is because you're still inlove with your ex-boyfriend. It's really hard to kove on and find new romance when the one youre heart beating with is still or just around. So next time you ask someone for a date make sure your ex-boyfriend is not bothering you at all.

I don't know how long you dated the ex-boyfriend, but I am guessing you still miss him.
It always hurts starting over in the dating scene.
Make sure you are ready to date, other wise get some girlfriends together, and just go have some fun!

Sometimes it's hard to start up with a new guy cause it means the old relationship is finally and totally over, and that's the very end of the breakup.

You need to re focus your energy. It sounds like you still have some feelings for your ex-boyfriend. Why don't you volunteer somewhere??? It sounds like he has moved on, why don't you?? I know it can be hard, but, you will get through it. Trust me.

maybe because you still have feeling for him and you havent moved on yet. OR maybe youre just not comfortable seeing him around given that you guys arent together anymore

your reaction is out of loyalty to your ex,however expand your world.do not date anyone that close.after the initial excitement wears off he will become suspicious of you.
