I had a boyfriend cheat on me and once that happens I don't think you can take someone back. We tried to work it out but I could never trust him again. We have remained friends and that is exactly where it will remain, friends. This didn't happen overnight but we had some really good times together and I enjoy seeing him once in a while to catch up and talk about old times.

Depends on the circumstances and why your partner cheated on you. you could be at fault.
Second chances are worth while, sometimes something like this helps bond the relationship, but if there is nothing there in the first place, best to call it a day.
Communication, understanding and trust are the key ingredients when something like this happens.

I agree. I never FULLY trusted him again after he did that. I ALWAYS second guessed where he was going when he was with his friends. It put a strain on the relationship because he got frustrated with me. We eventually broke up for other reasons, but it really takes a strong person to forget that he cheated. Are you strong enough??

My husband and I both cheated on each other in high school, he did first so I did it back. And truthfully had I not done it back I would not have been able to forgive him. But now we are happily married and I fully trust him.

I know it is hard for you and that you are disapointed but believe me, out there, in this big world there are persons sensible,afective and chaind just like you. I really can't give you an advise but try not to be overwhelmed by the situation. Heng out with your friends and meet new persons, in time you might find the one you are loocking for....

Yes, I have for 7 years and no it did not, becasue I never was able to trust him again. Once trust is gone the relationship is gone. Love and trust go hand in hand. Sex was too good so it was hard to leave, but I did.

you will never forget that person cheated, but you can try to work past it. It takes alot of work from both sides, but if this is the person you want to be with make it work
