Around 30 years ago, joint families were considered a boon. Nowadays, we see them only in EKTA KAPOOR`S teleserials. All the members jointly did house hold cores. Income from every member collectively would take care of entire family expenses. Where are such things now? Selfishness of the ladies in the households and Joru Ka Ghulam nature of the males has made the joint families a rare phenomenon. Advantages have been converted into disadvantages and the BOON has been converted into CURSE. People have started earning more money but lost the peace (or piece) of minds. ANALYSE.

Last Friday, I asked a boy to Homecoming. He said yes. Today at the end of class, I saw him sprint out of the room, which was a bit weird. Then a girl approached me and said "Look,___wanted me to tell you that hes going with someone else to Homecoming. I dont know that much about it. Sorry."
The whole grade knows I was supposed to go with him. And now they'll all know I was stood up. Im really hurt and my self esteem is
no longer. What do I do? I feel like the world's ugliest and dumbest girl.

okay...i love this guy with all of my heart!! he have dated for a year and his mom doesnt want us to date so she told him to break up with me and he also thinks that i cam bossy!! i would do anyhting in my ppwer to get him back in my arms!! he still comes around ALL that time and tells me that he loves me and he kisses me goodbye before we go to our classes!! but he gets when i tlak to other boys but than again he talks to other girls! he said that he would date me again but he doesnt want his mom to get mad!! about little things. his mother has bipolar illness. why would he get mad and take everything out on me he acts like iv'e done something wrong which i haven't all i did was help his mother. we are both on the same account and sometimes he says it's not enough money on it which i know there is because i keep track of everything bill money plus extra spending money. why does he take everything out on me and act like hes mad at me for something something?

I dont want to come across sounding like some bratty little kid that wants their parents to disappear from the face of the earth. But I do want my father to slack off a little. I'm sixteen years old and he does not want me to go out with my friends on the weekend, he wont let me buy a cell phone or get a job after school and he wont even let me stay up pass nine o clock. I know that i am still young but I need some sort of freedom. How can I get my father to realize that I'm not a little kid anymore?

One of my best girlfriends, Dani, is having a Halloween party and a c ostume is a must. I wasn't sure what i wanted to be so my boyfriend picked out a LiL red riding hood costume. I am 17. His mom invited us to a costume party that a friend of her's is having. It is kind of slutty but not like some of those costumes. My *** doesn't hang out and neither does my boobs. But im still worried that his family will think i look like a hooker, but i already told her i would go and told her my costume and shes excited to see me n her son all dressed up. I'm not reele sure what to do.

I always thought I wanted to retire, now that it here , I need something to do . I am on several boards and committees. But i get depressed when I am not involved in some kind of worthwhile activitites. Please don;t mention housework, you can only clean so much and there are only two people living in my household so there is nothing much to do . I don't watch soap operas and game show only stay on for a limited only. Everybody I really know are working. Know anythings that help me beat the depression.Also I travels a lot and I am fine , but it when I come home after two days the depression sets in.

This is a long story so please bear with me. i am an adult with my own child and my parents have divorced. my father alone has done awesome. works. has his own house. doing his own thing and i think it is great. my mother on the other hand received well over 100k in settlement and just can not get her act together. every guy she meets she moves in with. always messing up her bank accounts. not paying bills. she would move in with someone and not tell me and my brother where she is. i have been told more times than i can count that basically anything that she does is not my business. so recently there is this guy that she is dating. he is totally bad news- has been abusive, on drugs, truck driver that has been charged with DUI, unemployeed and my mother has caught him on line talking with other women. there has been nothing positive about this guy. so last week she drops the bomb that she is marrying this guy- and if we dont deal with it she is done with us. am i wrong for flipping out
