My crush does like me, I am pretty sure. I like him too, and I don't know what to do. He's really sweet. My friends tell me to talk to him, but I am shy. Also, my parents don't allow me dating in HS. I am a goody goody two shoes. All of my friends tell me they'd go out with their crush. My heart tells me to try to go out with him, but my brain tells me to listen to my logical side. What do I do?

Since your parents won't let you date and you want to date him, why don't you try homework sessions at your house so your parents get to know him. You can also see him at social events in your town...whatever they may be. Just meet him at some of the things going on. It will be Halloween soon, your school or town probably has something. If you are in HS, join some of the groups like drama club, yearbook, etc that you might both enjoy and also get time together working on a project.

Eye contact is the thing.
Make eye contact with him, and then give him a big smile.
If nothing happens after this has occured a couple of times or so, then speak to him, and say that you have noticed him looking at you, and would he be interested in a date.
There's no point in letting this thing go on and on for weeks. get it over and done with.

Talk to your parents first!! If they don't want you dating until highschool maybe you should listen! Tell this young man that your parents want you to wait! If he likes you then he will think it over and try again later!
