my bf and i have been dating 6 months, he had a child with ex(she got preg on 2nd date) the baby was 3mths early so they went through alot together. She is white trash, been in jail and psycho. we met when baby was 9mths and he left her for me. she went off the deep end, stalking, threatening to kill us, courts said she could not be around baby unless she did drug test(supervised visit) she wouldn't. one day she threatens and the next day its "i wanna be a family, i love you". my bf told me i'm the love of his life and wants to marry, yet she mindf**ks him and makes him feel guilty because we "did" this to her. I just found out he has been calling her and I asked him about it. he says he cares for her but why would he hide it from me? he says its cuz it gets me upset. I don't know if he's lying. i love him and i'm a mature adult (divorced) and i want to believe him but am i being a fool? what questions should i ask him to find out the truth of the matter? sorry this was so long

Hey I said to my Mrs about going out lastnight because we have a long distance relationship it's hard ect..

she said she does'nt like me going out because people do stupid stuff when they are drunk and she said this when I asked her if she did'nt mind me going
out tonight...."i really dont know, do whatever you want to..who am i to stop you".So I told her she is my Girlfreind and ofcourse I care what she wants
but this is stupid all i want to do is have some fun i'm 18 and I should be enjoying myself instead i'm stuck in having no life just whilst she gets goes to movies with her mates...Is she just paranoid I might do something with someone else ??? which I wont I love her to much to hurt her in that way... or
is she controlling me too much now and I should break away ??..

My boyfriend of 51/2 years has not proposed to me. He says Ive been a great girlfriend...very supportive, fun, all that...I'm 23 and he's 24. I think 5 1/2 years is more then enough time to make that decision and we are certainly old enough. I'm considering ending the relationship over this. I feel like I am being used and he is stringing me along. I've told him that it hurts me that we are not engaged and I think it's time, but he seems to avoid the issue or tells me a very vague "maybe sometime in the next year..." I think being in a relationship for 6 years with no ring is pathetic! I'm a great person and very attractive...I could certainly find another guy. I feel like I'm wasting my time with him when I could be meeting someone who will appreciate what they have. Should I move on?

i was dating this guy and he use to talk twisted all the time. if i hear him say something and repeat it. he would say he didnt say it. if he does something stupid and i ask him why he did that he would say he didnt do it or ask me what am i talking about. why does he deny everything he says and does when he knows we both know the truth. why is he doing this? it is so frustrating. im no longer with him but i was just wondering what is that type of behaviour?

last year she had depression and anorexia.
it was during a tough time too..
because her family was about to move out of state, and she had just started a new school.

well they ended up NOT moving..because "her depression made it hard on the family".
they tell her that pretty much everyday...
and it's like they punish her for having it.

she got over it..but it's comming back.
so is the anorexia (she says "her stomach hurts") but i doubt it.
all of this is because her family gives her no freedom (they won't even let her go to the mall w/o a parent present). and she's done nothing to deserve it (besides the depression..which apparently "made her parents give up a lot of things they wanted")

i don't know what to do. what kind of advice could i give her?

I've went on a few dates with a new girl and shes has came over my house a dozen times. Last night she wanted me to go to a bar she hangs out at sometimes and I didn't want to. She got pretty upset and asked me to just take her there and drop her off in the middle of our night out. My boyfriend and I broke up because he wasn't sure if he wanted to be in a relationship. We still talk just about everyday, I see him pretty regularly and I am only sleeping with him and he "claims" that I'm the only person that is sleeping with. I've been w/ my husband for 6 yrs now. Just a few mths after we got married, he told me something that really hurt me. You see I've always had a low self esteem when it comes to my appearance. I've been criticized by almost everyone I know from a very young age. I told him of this and how it's affected me. Then 1 day out of the blu as I was just minding my own bizness, he came to me and said, "U have an ugly face!" I responded, "Gosh, ur so mean." I thought he was just trying to be mean, but he responded, "It's the truth!" I went to bed in tears. How could someone who made me feel so beautiful after all those yrs make me feel so ugly just after a few words? That night, I stopped loving him. I still care for him, but I was no longer in love with him. I wanted him to say he was sorry and that he really does think I'm beautiful. He never did even when I told him how hurt I was. Sometimes I want to leave him, but I jus keep thinking that noone's gonna love me more anyway.
