It all depends on what the guy is interested in, but Swiss Army Knives and / or Multi-tools (e.g. combined pliers, penknife, etc) are often good guy presents.... if he's into fishing, then perhaps something from the RAPALA ProGuide Fishing tool combo sets.

Another good general present is a watch, perhaps something from CASIO's G-SHOCK range.... they don't come much more gadget laden or more durable than these.

If he's into Cars, you've got 2 good choices:
1) You can get gift certificates that entitle him to spend a day at a real race track with a racing instructor.
2) Highly detailed large scale model cars, mounted on a plinth.... most commonly made by Maisto + Bburago

If he's into Railways, and there's a preserved line with old locomotives maintained & run by volunteers near you, check to see if they do Train driving experience days (though might be a bit pricey).

How about a gift certicate you make up for him to have sex with you for 7 straight days leading up to the actual day. He can do with you what he wants without begging :)

Men are hunters by nature. They do like to catch us without to much effort sometimes.

Trust me he will be looking forward to this gift all day long.

I am thinking you are the girl. If you are the guy give her a full body massage and write her a nice poem about what she does for you that makes you appreciate her. Be gentle, kind and understanding.

Give each other yourself not merchandise. Save that for Xmass and birthdays. This day is for both of you and nobody else is why.

For me it would be the verbalisation of your love and the promise of it always being there, presents and parties can't come anywhere that.

Tickets to his favorite team? Or a jersey of his favorite player? Those are always good.
