i was dating this guy and he use to talk twisted all the time. if i hear him say something and repeat it. he would say he didnt say it. if he does something stupid and i ask him why he did that he would say he didnt do it or ask me what am i talking about. why does he deny everything he says and does when he knows we both know the truth. why is he doing this? it is so frustrating. im no longer with him but i was just wondering what is that type of behaviour?

These types of people live life blinded of the truth and will deny a rainstorm if it hit them in the face.I know someone like that...I come to understand he likes things to be extravigant-bigger than the truth....sounds better another way.A way of getting attention..bigger..brighter...louder..everything with est on the end or r on the end like ...liar.

Well chances are he's just being an immature jerk. Some guys will do that because they like to take control of situations. He can then turn it around and accuse you of something, and claim that he's a victim in this. This behavior often will leave the girl feeling insecure and vulnerable, which allows him to control her more. This happened to me in one relationship. After awhile I was so insecure, that I was making decisions (life changing ones) that I didn't want to, just to benefit him. Be careful. It's good you two aren't together anymore. He's a manipulater.

Maybe he was trying to be funny and when he realized you didn't get what he was saying he denied saying anything at all. There are guys who always try to say the right thing, and when they don't they just give up.

This would only be guess work without knowing "specifics". It would appear that he is completely out-of-touch with reality or he had said things which he regretted, using the denial tactic as a way to rescind his statements & actions.

Verbal Dylexia cuold be one cause. It could be that his mouth runs faster than his brain does and he doesn't realize what he is saying until it is too late. I would know, I'm the same way.
