No way. I am totally an independent woman.I am not one of those who just sit at home at look pretty and get money off of someone who is working hard, although, some men really don't mind that at all. I am ok at asking for help if I need it on occasion. I had a roommate who wouldn't even move her own stuff into the apartment we lived in or hang her own pictures up. She did support herself though and was the best roommate I ever had. I do miss her. She got married 3 years ago.

I'd rather support myself than be a girlfriend. It makes me feel like an independent woman, a feeling I've never had when liking a guy, and would rather have than any other feeling in the world.

not me I have supported myself since i was 16. I still pay half the bills. Even though my man makes more then me. But I guess to each there own and the guy is stupid enough to support them.

that shouldnt make a difference, i believe relationships should be 50/50. either that be - man works, woman takes care of children or vise versa; or both parents work. no woman should just sit home doing nothing, if shes being a stay at home mom, then she needs to take care of the house and children while the father works. there has to be some balance
