In a relationship, I often find that the arguments, bad emotions and breakups happen because of talking too much about everything (especially those things that are very negatively emotional). Most psychologists would agree that the problem is that we need to communicate MORE. Do you agree, or should we avoid talking sometimes? Explain.

I am head over heals in love with my best friend. We've had a thing for eachother for the past two months now and things have recently been heating up. I'm not sure if i'm his girlfriend even though his family thinks we're dating, and I guess he told some of our friends that we're seeing eachother. He is still friends w/ his ex and it hurts me more than he knows when he hangs out with her, but i'm also kinda friends with her which makes it even harder. He told me he loves me, twice actully, but each time he's said it, he was drunk. Some say alcohol is a "truth searum" but I'm not sure. I know I should just talk to him, but it's not that simple. I can't see myself without him at this point in my life - even though he doesn't treat me as good as I deserve (like I pay for mostly everything) , but that doesn't bother me, and I don't complain because he is all I need. Do you think he was telling the truth when he said he loved me? what should I do? I need some major advice.

He asked me to go with him because they are having a party for his sons award.
I dont really like to do things like this but could go if I could get off work in time to do it and if he understands it does not change how I feel about some things such as her remaining on his checking account for about 6 months after we started dating. I still dont want her to call my house since he has a cell phone and I think she should not be reviewing his medical records. Its none of her business. Another thing that bothers me is they invited him over for a drink. He is a serious alcoholic and they are promoting something I totally disagree with. Help?

A)The girl that is always kissing u,huging u...and she sended u a message just wanting to say she loves you. A girl that always talks to you, and tells you if something is bothering her, someone who won't lie to you.
OR
B) A girl that always talks to other guys, always lie to you, and always keeps things inside if something is bothering her.
Pick one or both and why????
Thanks guys=0)

Just wondering, what is the cutest/sweetest thing that has ever happened to you on a date?

My homecoming date hates me for no reason watsoever. All i did was be nice to her and my and her friends agree on that and have no idea why shes acting like that. I ve heard many theories bout it, she likes me but doesnt want to admit it, shes retarded, she wants attention, and a few others. apparently she has been saying some pretty mean things about me behind my back and i really dont like her doing that. The problem is is that shes is really hard to talk to and will prolly lie and bs at me if i do decide to ask her. I never really liked her and realize that it was a mistake to ask her to the dance in the first place so i dont really care, i juts want her to stop. I asked her because her friends begged me and she seemed like she wanted me too. I dont know how to act in this situation? any ideas? I find this out after the dance, and apparently she lied to me the whole time bout having fun, cuz what she says, it dosnt look like it at all. And seriously, i was really really nice to her.

Im a fashion design major. I love clothes and i know clothes. Sometimes i may dress different but thats because i like it and i dont care what anyone thinks. Usually it comes in style a few months later anyway. Well i have a boyfriend and we were going to go out tonight. I came over wearing flat tall brown leather boots. And he looked down and was like those are ugly. First of all guys dont know anything about fashion. Second of all i do. Third of all that is rude. He has no right to tell me what is cute or not. He said he didnt want to go out anymore. And he finally told me it was because of my boots. We got into a huge fight. Oh and i used to tell him what i didnt like about his clothes he would wear but...im a girl...thats what we do. Besides, im good at it. And he did need some help. But i just think he was completley out of line. Thats just one thing you dont do, tell your girlfriend, especially who is a fashion major, that she doesnt know how to dress. What do i say to him

It really isn't my business what my neighbors do until it starts affecting my children and home life. The girls upstairs from me are lesbians. The one girl has a 4 year old and the other has no kids at all. I hear them verbally and physically fighting constantly. Sounds like 2 grown men. the mother of the child has told me shes been hit with the baby in her arms before and the baby was knocked to the ground. They scream for help and for neighbors to call 911. I have called numerous times.. nothing seems to happen to them. They are trying to have yet another child.. seeing a doctor AND letting anyone whos willing sleep with the girl who wants to get pregnant. They have offered 3 somes etc. Recently they ask the other childs father to help. So now hes been there more often (trying to get the girl pregnant) So it seems the girls have been fighting more. Its obnoxious and ridiculous. When I tried talking to them about it I got a rude slammed door in my face. They use to be friendly....

Ok...I'll try to sum up 5 years in a paragraph. I was with my ex-girlfriend for the past 5 yrs. We were engaged to be married this month. However, 3 months ago she came home & told me she wasn't in love with me anymore & that she didn't want to get married. As you can imagine that was a bit of a shock. Over the next few days I found out that she was already dating another guy. Well, that explains that part. Over the next couple months we talked maybe 3 times.

2 weeks ago she broke up with the new guy & called me. She said that she still cared about me and didn't want to lose me as a friend. That she still loved me, my family, and my daughter (who over the past 5 years had basically become her daughter) but that she still didn't want to be together. I didn't really know what to do & took the past 2 weeks to debate the situation. Well, earlier I called her & told her that I couldn't do that. I couldn't just go from being with someone for 5 years, to being friends. Any suggestions???
