Wow.... different in almost EVERY way.

My dad thinks George W Bush can do no wrong and my mom is a Jehovah's Witness. My dad thinks Rush Limbaugh is a valuable source of information and my mom is a Jehovah's Witness. My dad is racist and homophobic and my mom's bigoted against anyone who's not a Jehovah's Witness.

Not a lot of similarities. Dad and I have some common ground in regards to taste in movies and music and our love of nature and road trips. Mom and I...... well, when we swear off arguing religion, we usually talk about the weather or the kitty cats.

My mom...well, we're a lot alike but I guess the biggest difference is that she is a chain smoker, and hates to drive. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life, and I love to drive around.

My dad...he's been an alcoholic since he was in his late teens, and I refuse to let that happen to me. I don't even feel the urge. He chain smokes also, and I'm not down with that. He's also the type of guy that automatically assumes that he knows what's going to come out of your mouth in a conversation and jumps to conclusions. I'm not like that at all.

I'm act the most like my mom, and look the most like my dad.

I would never stay in a marriage that doesn't seem right for years and years just because you don't want to break it apart or can't afford it. It's too many days of sadness - and in the end - you actually do end up hurting your kids sometimes.

I am a shopoholic. I spend money like a lunatic and they know how to save theirs. I think it was because they spoiled me as a child and now I spoil myself. I was not an only child, but I got pretty much everything I could ever want.
