It really isn't my business what my neighbors do until it starts affecting my children and home life. The girls upstairs from me are lesbians. The one girl has a 4 year old and the other has no kids at all. I hear them verbally and physically fighting constantly. Sounds like 2 grown men. the mother of the child has told me shes been hit with the baby in her arms before and the baby was knocked to the ground. They scream for help and for neighbors to call 911. I have called numerous times.. nothing seems to happen to them. They are trying to have yet another child.. seeing a doctor AND letting anyone whos willing sleep with the girl who wants to get pregnant. They have offered 3 somes etc. Recently they ask the other childs father to help. So now hes been there more often (trying to get the girl pregnant) So it seems the girls have been fighting more. Its obnoxious and ridiculous. When I tried talking to them about it I got a rude slammed door in my face. They use to be friendly....

Babies being knocked to the ground would surely be grounds for child welfare to step in and remove whatever the threat was, or the child from the threat.
They sound totally unfit to be raising children. Maybe you should video them or at least record the sound of some of their fights to let the authorities know just how out of control they are up there.

The fact that they are lesbians is not really relevant to the problem you are having. First off, stop including that in your complaints or you'll come across just sound like a bigot and that won't get anyone on your side. Every time they have a 'domestic disturbance' call the police. This will establish a record of the indicents as they occurr. Then seek legal intervention. You could apply for a restraining order citing your concern for your childrens safety. If their child is in danger, call child protective services. Keep reporting them to the police when they are being loud or violent or whatever and keep pursuing this legal intervention, and again, forget that they are lesbians. That should never enter your arguments.

slip a note under the door explaining how you feel even though you dont want to be a "nosey" neighbor. That you have concerns about the child and child to be. All you can do is offer your thoughts and let the abused girl know that you are there if she needs a "FRIEND". If she refuses your help then there is nothing that you can do. If their fights continue to bother you call the police about the noise and if that doesnt work....move.

you need to keep calling the police whenever they fight. be a persistant pain in the @$$. the cops will eventually have to do something.
