I want to help needy children during the christmas season but i'm having trouble findin a local organization. Something along the lines of the Angel Tree but around the batesville Arkansas area.

I don't know if you have this in your area, but here we have an event called toys for tots. people bring in new, unwrapped toys to certain drop off points. The Marines get involved with it as well. You should see if this is in your town. If not, maybe you could contact some people and see what can be done. I think that its great that you want to help out needy children. Alto of times for people its " what about me..what do I get?" good for you and i wish you well.
