No. No. No. She is picking 18 because that is when she can legally make the choice. Her parents obviously can't stand you and they know their daughter is a looseleaf. What do you and she think is going to happen when she turns 18? She becomes enlightened and you have a career well in place and you are both emotionally mature enough to deal with each other 24/7?

I think 18 is a young age to get married. Some people are mature at that age already, but some still need some time to mature. Marriage is just a piece of paper. You guys can love each other without getting married. I think you should wait until both of you have a career.

At 18 yrs old, she is in no way mature enough to get married. Love is eternal. Wait until she is at least 21.
