I write for a Christian magazine and my next article is on boundaries in dating. Instead of using sole research, I'd like to get input from others on this topic.

Do any of you think that Christian Dating is the same as Secular Dating, or do you believe that there are different boundaries that should be put up?

Why do you feel this way?

Third, are there any links you can point me to for further readings on the topic?

I went to a party about 4 weeks ago and had little too much too drink and woke up with my ex. bf naked at his house. i rarely party and up till then had not for 6 months i dont remeber what happened and neither does he. i pretty sure we had sex though cause the room smelled like it and the sheets were messy of it. i still dont have my period i was due the week after the incedent and i am worried. i am a softmore in college this year and am terrified i took a test week after this happened and came back negative. should i go see a doctor it feels like i might get my period any day but i have feeling that way now for weeks.?

I've been engaged to my fiance for a year and our wedding is in October. My older brother (by 2 years) proposed to his long-time girlfriend just a few months ago and have decided on a September wedding, exactly a month before ours. My fiance and I have taken extreme offense to this but have not made our feelings clear to any of my family. Their wedding will be very large and expensive, and almost like a mini family reunion, while ours has always been intended to be small and exclusive. We feel that they have put our special day in the shadows while stealing the light for themselves. I feel embarrased when I have to explain why people going to their wedding are not invited to ours. The logistics and madness of two weddings is overwhelming too.
My fiance and I have fought over this, have cried over it, and worry that this will have a lasting negative impact on the relationships of our new families. What can I do? Awkwardly we are eachothers "best man", but I feel anything but right now.

I love my husband very much. We don't have sex because of our past and problems we have. We havn't engaged in any sexual activity in 2 months. Yet, we still kiss and hug and love each other. We are trying to work on our problems. Yet, I feel that if sex never returned in my life I still wouldnt cheat on him and I wanta be with him even if I dont have sex. I feel we will eventually once we figure our problems out and get along better. Yet, I wanta know what you all think if you love someoene alot and figure that sex isn't really apart of it would you still be with them? My b/f and I have been 2gether for 2 yrs, and I am totally in love with him, I think. I know I'm very attracted to him, our sex life is great, I have such a deep feeling for him, always wanting to be with him, always wanting to hug him, he makes me laugh everyday(very important to me), He's great with my kids, they like him alot. The problem is mostly that he has many addictions. He smokes cigs, drinks beer all day long, smokes pot too, and hasn't had a steady job. He has only worked off and on. He lives with me, he previously went thru a really hard divorce, where his ex took their children from him. He is very depressed about not having his children in his life. I know he loves me very much, he shows it, in other ways besides monitarily. His addictions havn't really ever caused friction between us, except for the fact that it's draining my bank account. He knows he needs to get back to work, and curve the habits. I believe he's trying, but am i fooling myself that he's gonna change?

OK, here is my life drama. I have been with my kid's father for 8 years. I am 25 he is 27. We have 4 kids oldest is 5 youngest 1 month. We have been having issues for the last year since he has started hanging out with a new group of friends. But the past month I caught him in soo many lies. Like he was talking to girls he graduated with. OK fine no problem. He hans't talked to them in like 8 years. Well I over heard him talking to his friends about having a girl from schools phone number. Well that has me curious. I heard his friend say "do you think we can meet them and make it happen with them in the near future." My bf said yes. One minute he says he wants to leave the next he loves me, but he gives me no attention and talks all night to his one guy friend and he also works with this guy so he sees him all day. Not sure what to think or do???

I have been with my boyfriend for five year's. Lately all we do is argue, he stay's out all night , he's constantly on the cell phone off whispering in a corner somewhere, and he's taken to snooping around reading my thing's and asking other people where I am and what i'm doing. I have told him over and over to just leave me if he's not happy with me and he doesn't.It seem's like he doesn't want me anymore but he doesn't want me to be with anybody else either. I work and go home to our kid's everyday,nothing is ever enough for him. I just can't understand why he can't say what's wrong with him or just leave me. After we argue and i'm all upset he seem's like he's alright then.I don't support him, i don't pay his bill's or anything so why doesn't he just leave,we don't go anywhere ,do anything together, we don't even have sex not in a couple month's. SO WHY IS HE STILL AROUND!!! Yes I love him but i'm not happy with him at all, and I told him this and he's still here. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have two friends that I've known for a bout 5 years. One a guy the other a woman. For the past 3 years he has told me many times that this woman is chasing him..that she won't leave him alone. He told me that he even went to her house and told her that he doesn't want to date her...and told her to leave him alone. I've never seen this...I just believed him. There are 2 question I am curious to find out...One is for men is it cheating for your girlfriend to be with another woman? Is there anything wrong with that? And second, is it shameful to get turned on by someone watching you have sex? How do you get your boyfriend to believe that you are not seeing someone else? For one everytime he call me iam at work and I tell him I have to call him back he gets upset with me, and I work with children at a shelter therefore they need all of my attetion. But he thinks that i'm flirting with men at my job or seeing someone there and I always tell him why would I mess up something I already have that's good? He always says he know, but me and him have been dating for almost 5 years someone please tell me what a sista supposed to do?
