What are the biggest reasons why married women cheat on their husbands?

I can only answer to why I cheated on mine. I think for everyone it is different, but the same.
Your emotional connection is lacking. For whatever reason. Maybe she doesn't feel appreciated, sexy, loved, maybe she is not feeling like an individual. Maybe she is lost in being a wife, employee and mother and lost herself. Maybe she needs excitement. 'In my case, Just let my guard down and allowed someone,other than my husband, to get close to me. Once there was an emotional connection it was hard to stop.I would never allow another man (other than my husband)to get close to me again like that.BUT I will never allow my husband and I to get out of sync again either.
Men and women I personally believe cheat for different reasons. Women I believe that it is emotional, your not getting something at home and you unintentionally seek it out, without even knowing you are. Men, I believe it is the same but it is egotistical.Which is not a negative thing.If your lacking something you will seek it out. Don't get me wrong I do not think that most people seek it out knowingly. But we all have needs.And they need to be met. And if they are not met, eventually you will find a way to get them met.

Cheating on a spouse is a last resort. Usually takes place after not getting needs met by spouse. I speak of Emotional and sometimes physical. An affair is a relationship with no history and therefore no responsibility and masks itself as being fun. She might want to get revenge. She might be a sexual addict. If you act like her daddy she can't be expected to treat u like a lover. The main reason is how she feels about herself when she is with the other person. None of these reasons make it right or moral but is often the reason. All of these reasons however can definitely Ruin a family forever. In the end it causes more damage than good. Affairs happen when the couple no longer nurtures their relationship and becomes bogged down with being only parents, employees etc...

here an answer from a man. Well here it happened to me after 17 years damit she cheats on me.. the question is why. I was told i made it to much of a secure environment, I was always there and to helpfull, i cooked ,icleaned, i took care of all the familly, put my paycheck on the table. and guess what it had nothing to do with the sex because it was great. so why. Well i"ll tell you why because women can, they like to play with fire, they want the bad boy, and guess what the bad boy only wants a peace of tail.........so why in the hell can someone after 17 years screw up a good thing the final answer is JUST BECAUSE. I DONT KNOW, I HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK, IM GOING THREW A PHASE. THE BEST ONE I DIDNT LIVE ENOUGH >>>>>BITE ME.

but i do know she has to live with what she has done for the rest of hers. Now shes disgusted with herself, self esteem out the door, crankie and miserable......all because of your hormones are unbalanced. You married women think twice before ruining your family and what you have..

Either their husband is not doing what they should in the bed room or as a husband period. Some do it just to get back at their husbands for doing it to them, then you have those that are just not satisfied with one man. There are various reasons, but majority down the line are because a need or want is not being met.

I am married and can honestly tell you that I don't know why women cheat on their husbands. If they truely love and care about the man that they love then they shouldn't do something like that.

There are too many married women (in the age bracket of 32-37), I met who are willing to cheat on their hubbies.

Their reason was that there in not much fire in their relationship and they want to feel that they are still desireable.

BTW, all of them told me that their husbands are not cheating on them and they are sure of that!

Boy! They are so good in sex!

They feel like they're taken for granted, not appreciated..they're looking for an "emotional" bond that they're not getting at home..

I don't agree with cheating in any circumstance. If more women spoke up about what they needed from their spouses, their marriages would be better. Too many women expect men to read their minds - that's just foolish.

Attention. Most women thrive on attention. It starts out inocent then the women gets emotionaly wraped up in the situation and it becomes physical. People both men and women now days don't have very high morals.

Boredom, disillusionment, the promise of excitement, the taboo nature of the act..... All the same reasons men cheat on thier wifes are the reasons women cheat of thier husbands...

The husband doesn't give them enough attention, sex is getting boring, the thrill, everything is monotonous, he is slacking it looking good for her, he is not passionate about life or their relationship anymore, no quality time!!! Thyere really are a million reasons and therefore communicate with your mate so that these opportunities don't show up to your front door and you run with them...
