And at the same time has endorsed Nuclear power stations as the cure for Global warming. Is the Au government trying to scare the people into excepting Nuclear power ,because Australians have been so opposed to them? Is this a back door to fool the people into excepting radioactive poison plants . It also seems funny that a friend of The prime minister has started a nuclear power producing company before it has been decided by the people if they are having these plants in the first place. Has the decision to build them already been approved?

When even President Bush has stopped denying the existence of Global warming, and proposed that America do something about it at the latest ASEAN summit, I cannot help but wonder if those who continue to deny...just haven't checked their inboxes lately?

The latest thing seems to be to acknowledge global warming but deny human involvement in it. Was that in last months inbox perhaps?

I have a studio I work in that is lighted with fluorescent light and I'm in and out of that area several times each day. Should I be turning that light on and off as I enter and leave the room or leave it on for the 12 hours or so that the room might be used each day?

Does this sound like another BS study to protect interest of big oil. The epa did the same thing with European "zero emmission" car saying they have to bad of polutions to be allowed in the US...even the electric ones.
The EPA seems to be a very corrupt organization.

For cheap labor and almost negligible manufacturing costs, I guess it's logical for many foreigners to run branches of their company in China.

I work in an office and we waste tons of paper a day by just throwing it away.

I'd like to get a recycling bin, but I don't know where to get one.

How do I go about this?

Don't you just love it how paper is made from these old trees that are just occupying a space that should be used for something more useful like a chair (made of wood) or something like that?

Okay, I know this was a while ago, but do you thing it was morally wrong to keep the bear alive? Or do you think it was morally wrong to kill him?
Personally, I'm a sort of renegade animal rights activist. I'm PRO-LIFE. It doesn't matter wether he's in the wild or not. He had the right to live. Thank god the zoo didn't kill him. There would have been MAJOR problems.
Besides, the Polar Bear is a dying species, thanks to Global Warming. Conservationalists would have caused an uproar if the bear was killed.

"There are ominous signs that the Earths weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production“ with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now."

Global warming right? nope its global cooling

"A survey completed last year by Dr. Murray Mitchell of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reveals a drop of half a degree in average ground temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere between 1945 and 1968."

this is from a Newsweek article called

"The Cooling World" - by Peter Gwynne
April 28, 1975 Newsweek

"Scientists Ask Why World Climate Is Changing; Major Cooling May Be Ahead"
By WALTER SULLIVAN
New York Times May 21, 1975

I'm just wondering about other people's opinions. The way that the situation is going, we may not have a world to live in in a couple hundred years.
If this generation is having problems with it, how can we educate future generations so that they listen to us?
Can we really REVERSE Global Warming, or is it irreversible? Can we save our planet from flooding and possibly killing millions of people?
Will there be such animals as polar bears, penguins, arctic wolves, etc. in the future? What will happen to them if they're still around?
How would we get everyone evacuated from coastal areas in the event the world floods?
Should we make it the law to make America more energy efficient?
I just want to know other people's opinions.
