With respect to the Global Warming Issue, why confuse the issue by making reference to something most people cannot identify, i.e., "Green House Gases?" Is it Carbon Dioxide we worry about?
Why not start a massive campaign to plant more shrubs everywhere? Let plants eat up all that carbon dioxide. How many shrubs would it take?

If mankind is 'very likely' to have caused global warming as a new UN report backed by 2,500 scientists and over 100 countries says, what would you be prepared to give up or do to help save our planet?

Is it really "Global Warming" or has the earth steadily (sinece the last say 35,000 years) been warming (even though it's a miniscule amount)? I mean, the indians who came to America from the Orient crossed over on the ice that's no longer there. Should they have been blamed for that?

...maybe I could rephrase the question?

Here in the UK there'll soon be more old than young people and I suspect that the situation is similar in most other developed countries - MORE METHANE !

AIDS and other serious diseases it would seem are having a pretty effective stab at curtailing population explosions in undeveloped ones but in china the indigenous population is still only allowed one child per family (God help you if your gender is female) aren't they ? However, now, some chinese cities are in an almost permanent state of SMOG and the nation is set to be the next Superpower - which will probably mean alot more babies - MORE METHANE STILL?

I'm thinking of sports like motor racing, racing about on quad bikes, water scooters, trail bikes etc - all those sports which involve burning fossil fuels, not to mention creating a lot of noise pollution too.
