Sure. Three things.

Conserve energy.

Use sources of energy other than fossil fuels.

Capture (sequester) carbon dioxide.

The last is the most difficult and expensive, which is why it's not being tried yet. People are doing research on how to do it better.

Oh yea if carbon dioxide is in fact the cause. CO2 can very easily be removed from the atmosphere and stored. But, no one I know or am aware of wants to remove any of the CO2 for some reason I don't understand.
