yes, your question is too vague. if you want it to be the proper question you must add that no body is around to hear it

On the planet earth, yes! I would probaly make a lot of noise. mabey the tree would crash into other trees, knocking them over too, which would make more noise.

It just no one will be around to hear it!

the only way it wouldn't make a noise is if there was no atmosphere, but then how would there be a forest?

This really only depends on your definition of sound. Some say that there must be a receptor (ear) to hear. Obviously, the sound waves would be produced. Since it is only a case of semantics, does it really matter?

To add to the last response, they are correct in saying you did not provide enough info. In the short answer, no it does not. Sound WAVES are made but without a receptor (ear) there is no actual sound made.
