When I say pigmentation, i'm refering to birds and animals too. Is it something that was the concious will to distinguish itself and increase it's chances of survival or was it down to diet and envirnment? e.g. Birds of paradise are well known for their outrageous colours but they are generally localised to areas of rich vegetation and high humidity. Also, Al I worng in assuming that birds are colourblind, If not, Their colours must be caused by environmental factors. ? Any thoughts or facts?

some democrats, left and socialist countries seem to be placing alot of emphasis on this so called global warming. there is no evidence. it another scare tactic. ask yourself, ice age, mars polar caps melting. why. there is no evidence that it is going to cause a tremendous effect on the earth. Has anyone review what the possible good outcome from global warming, if there is such a thing has manmade global warming. the ocean gives off 100x more co2 than man, should we drain the oceans

i heard that Gore is to receive a Nobel prize for his movie on global warming. 1in 1964 i was in high school and our science teacher told us of greenhouse gases and how carbon dioxide causes warming. i remember his conjecture in class about how man made addition of CO2 will eventually warm the earth at a greater pace. it was common knowledge then and the people did not care about it.......at that time. fact is there were plenty of scientists thought this through then. now it has hit us good because our parents did not care about then. so while kudos for big AL, he is not the sole person. So, now the Nobel prize committee gives out prizes fro movies.

if you were trapped inside a typical full-service grocery store with no running water, phone or electricity..how long could you hope to survive? you have only the supplies in the store (and their respective expiry dates) to save you. and, you are alone.

Global Warming is not science fiction like many people think. It's a reality.. a reality that kills hundreds of people each year due to the many reasults that it has been causing, such as hurricanes, tsunamis, etc. What is the world going to look like by the time our children are as old as we are? Are they still gonna have the pleasure to enjoy this world that we can enjoy right now? What are the consequences behind this problem.
