what would that cost per ton to manufacture and spray? how manu tonnes a year would be needed to replace what is lost and restore the ozone layer.

oxygen has a very low, low, low, low melting point which means that to freeze oxygen would take forever.
melting point is -218.79 °C, -361.82 °F
boiling point is (-182.95 °C, -297.31 °F)

so to get the oxygen to liquid from, the temperature needs to be below -182.95 Celsius. It would be too cost effective. But it is possible.

That is an interesting idea. Ozone liquefies at -112 degrees C. It might be possible to shoot containers of liquid ozone up to the correct altitude where they would burst and disperse the ozone. One problem is that ozone is very unstable at high concentrations. A lot of ozone might be lost during the transition if not during the liquid stage by 2O3 --> 3O2. As for the amount needed and the cost, I'm just guessing but I think it would be huge.

Ozone is produce naturally in the upper atmosphere as the result of oxygen molecules being bombarded by UV rays. This production just can't keep up with the destruction caused by the breakdown products of CFCs and other molecules.
