Gore is a master deceiver who does not even believe his own propaganda. Yasser Arafat was given a Nobel Peace Prize even as he ordered terrorist strikes so maybe Gore would be in good company.
We have learned that the sun is getting hotter, hence the global warming.
CO2 has a minimal impact on global warming. Water vapor is the major greenhouse gas. Consider that the CO2 content of the atmosphere is the same in the Sahara Desert as it is over the Amazon rainforests. At night, the dry desert gets freezing cold while the moist rainforest keeps about the same temperature. Water vapor is the key to retaining heat, not CO2.
Al Gore is trying to fool people into making new taxes and Hillary Clinton is working with him on this. They want to tax the oil companies, people who drive cars, just about anyone they can squeeze money out of.
For Leftists, it is all about getting their hands on other people's money.

No. The 2500 people who did the IPCC report do.
The IPCC report will be available in a few weeks. It will cost money, it's 1600 pages, crammed full of data. But someone will put it up online at some point. It considers all the sceptics arguments, solar variation, volcanoes, etc. Judging from the 21 page summary I read, it will be a sober and actually very conservative analysis.
The IPCC report is the biggest scientific paper ever, with the most data, the most authors, and the most peer review, in the history of science. It is the very pinnacle of hard scientific research. The last paper to hold that title was the last IPCC report in 2001. You can look at that one here.

Science does not get any solider than this. The debate about whether solar warming is real and caused by man is over. Yes and yes. Gore raised awareness, the IPCC scientists provided solid proof.

He put together a really good movie on global warming. A lot of the stuff was held back from the public for years and years and only the government knew. He made it available to everyone. Hardcore proof backed by the leading experts, science, and technology. You can't deny it. He showed us things that a lot of people in his position would not. Bad news for a lot of rich and powerful people. We wouldn't have seen that stuff if it wasn't for him making it happen. He's a real good man who cares and doesn't think he's better than anyone else. He cares about the world and mankind and is doing something about it. Yes, he deserves it.

Al Gore doesn't deserve the time of day. Global warming is caused by solar cycles. It has happened before and will happen again. Man did not create it and man cannot stop it. We are along for the ride.

You read the response and get an idea of how sick and naive people are. The hostility towards Al Gore is disgusting. Weather people like him or not he is going to go down as one of the great thinkers of our time, A Davinci of sort. Al Gore might not be the strongest candidate for president(but I could be wrong) but when history asks who was right and who was wrong -- he is going to look pretty. I would stake my life savings on whether humans are big part of global warming. With in a short time it will be quite obvious to the public, if it is not already and Al gore is part of that.
I am sure the same people who are against Al Gore were for the war, against civil unions, think George Bush is going to go down as great President and Bill one of the worst, think our defence of Israel is 100% fair, like corporate America in our politics, don't recycle, and would of been against civil rights if lived during those times.
There is progressive people and people who refuse to change with the times even when right and wrong spit them in the face.

We where just talking about this last night. I say yes, who else has brought this into our homes and made use discuss the issue as much as Al Gore? Seems everyone is talking about it and the issue isn't just here in America its world wide. It seems to me that that was the goal of the movie to get folks to start discussing this matter more and more and bring new ideas to the table to solve this problem. i believe this movie is the tool we humans needed to get to work to start fixing the mess we,we've made. S to answer your question I say yes Al Gore deserves the noble prize. I wish he'd run again for president I;d vote for him in a heart beat.
