The fish is getting to where it shouldnt be eated,as it will cause health problems.warnings or being put out for us not to eat certain fish as the mercery level is way to much in those fish.why or you not concerned.

The Bush administration is downplaying anything pollution to our oceans, air, rivers, mountains, cities. He is so afraid one of his wealthy cronies somewhere will have to pay up and clean up the dirty mess they have spewn on the earth with their large manufacturing, chemical and gas producing corporations.

Nobody is pumping mercury into the ocean, but some mercury does seep out where it doesn't belong and may get washed into the ocean. Some batteries contain mercury and if disposed of improperly it can leak out and get washed into the ocean. Gold miners can use pans of mercury in rivers to capture gold. Because some of the mercury gets into the water and so washed downstream, it is illegal, but some individuals do it in secret anyway to get more gold.
