No, vibration occurs, but sound is only the interpretation of that vibration in which humans and animals perceive as 'Sound'
Without a human around to convert that vibration into a 'sound,' it's just a vib!

Yes it does. The existence of sound does not depend on people to hear it. Before it falls, the tree still exists even if nobody is there to see it, right? So it it doesn't have to be seen to exist, it doesn't have to be heard falling to make a sound.
