I guess what I was thinking about, was does this happen:
Due to global warming, the oceans warm up, which causes greenhouse gases to be released into the bottom of the water into the oceans.

Does/Could that happen?

When a man have a flu, he may have a fever, shiver and cough.
Earth got global warming, tremors and volcanic eruptions. Human pass gas; so as earth.
Our increasing population with escalating demand from natural resources is out of proportion.
Wouldn't human get sick if something keeps sucking the blood off him? Now, how much oil we've pumped out from our dear earth?
The earth's core is getting low on oil and perhaps natural gas, too.
Just as an engine with low oil level..... it will ultimately breakdown!
The emissions of pollutants to the atmosphere is a mere contributor to global warming. Scientists should also actively investigate what is happening in the earth's core.

The oil companies did! They save 33% on greenhouse gas emissions compared to the convnetional car. And im sure if GM could build a new one nowadays, they could save up to 50 percent greenhouse gas emissions or so. I dont want to ski on Grass!!!!!!!

- Changes to the Clean Air Act now allow for the dirtiest power plants to install scrubbers to reduce their pollution.

- By providing for simplified and reduced regulation and taxing on Industry, The top 10 polluting Companies in the U.S. have stepped forward with voluntary initiatives to reduce greenhouse gasses. Under this plan the U.S. will surpass Europe (again) in actual greenhouse gas reductions, and may exceed expectations of the Kyoto Protocol. The previous Administration did not sign Kyoto for 6 years, Yet Bush gets the grief?

-W enacted rules to take polluting Sulfur out of Diesel Fuel and to unify Gasoline grades from 19 types to down to 5. This will increase our refinery capacity without building new refineries. To keep people happy about cheap gas, the previous administration canceled this implementation.

- After proper review, G.W. Bush signed a rule reducing the levels of Arsenic permitted in drinking water.

With all the fuss over CO2 emmisions it seems as if biology is no longer taught in school. CO2 and photosynthesis equals O2 and carbon which is necessary for the fauna sector of nature. Therefore it seems to me that we should be more concerned with the reduction of CO which is deadly to everyone and everything and let the other gases actually rejuvenate the flora. I watch and pray for Global Warming everyday as the sun comes up. If it did not heat the earth as rapidly as it does we would cease to exist. This only shows me the idiocy of the claims we have such a profound effect on the weather as the sun changes the temperature faster everyday than we could ever hope to. As for the changes being experienced, has anyone ever considered the effect the tsunami of 2005 had on the climate? The earth shifted 1 degree and that has a bigger effect than anyone has recognized. There is a bigger area subjected to the sun now in the NORTH and the south's ice is growing.

i am sick and tired of people saying that global warming is a myth. wow. that shows you really didn't pay attention at school or TV, if you're actually on earth. how much more proof do we need?!!! ever since industries and vehicles were invented, the temperature in the earth has risen like never before. statistics prove this. the ocean's levels are rising because of the melting ice in the poles. there is even too much carbon dioxide in the oceans that is harming the shells of sea animals. if you don't believe me, look it up yourself. i'm sick and tired of this. i'm sorry but its just that people prefer to remain ignorant than to take measures.

I saw an argument from a woman who felt that a possible solution for stopping the amount of destruction humanity does to the Earth was to reduce the human population. She suggested that health care stop being provided for people over 65, or all woman be sterilized after giving birth to one child, or even preventing "less educated" couples from having children at all. You can read it at

Do you think that this is a practical solution? I don't. Many of the corporations and factories that cause much of the environmental destruction will continue to run even if the population is drastically reduced.

How can this be done?

At my high school, I am trying to start an environmental club. I definitely want my members to not only learn about the magnificent world we live in, but also would love the opportunity to share that love and knowledge; to pass it on. I hope to be very active and involved; combining outdoor education and projects, working with the community and educating others on living with, not against the natural world.
Of course, there will be down times, like camping trips to unwind, appreciate what is left intact and remember why we are doing this. We need to be very strong for this; I must find a way to seek out and involve people and get this going in the school before we can reach out to the community.
If you have any suggestions about school clubs in general, environmental projects we could do, people we could talk to, things to get people interested, or anything you think could help me, give me ideas! I am open to just about anything. thanks alot!
