i think its real.
i did a report on it for my freshman project...and some of the stuff i learned was heartbreaking.

why shouldnt we be preparing for it..what harm could be done by cutting greenhouse gasses???!! thats what i'd like to know! even if, by some chance, its not happening, and this is natural, whats the harm in doing things to protect the enviornment anyways?!!

people who say "we dont need to do anything..its not real...blah blah blah.." are so wrong. theres nothing wrong with protecting our earth while we still can!!!

and then ppl say.."oh, well it wont affect me!! so why should i care!!" well ya kno what i think when i hear adults say that...i feel as if they dont care about my future..that they dont care if the world i live in is storm ridin, or if my children never see an arctic animal. when i hear that, im really hearing that they dont care about my generation and what happens to us, or the world, when they're gone.

which is unsensitive, uncaring, and hurtful.

Is it safe to throw out incandescent light bulbs in the trash? I want to properly dispose of them if they are environmentally dangerous. I've tried searching for answers on the web but I can't find any clear answers on this.

It doesnt appear to have much affect or maybe it should be 100 below zero instead of 20 below. Why arent winters dramatically affected like summertime?

i have a petition about global warming and it is a petition to intergovernmental panel on climate change, requesting not only the governments of different countries to come together to sort out this issue, but also people to unite to avoid this calamity which threatens to take over earth in 10 years. Questions is- why isn't anybody signing it. well, a few have, but that's it.

There really isn't any proof that man caused it, and in 1979 they were saying it was global cooling! They put stuff on the glaciers to melt them, and did anyone stop to think that it was the exact same enviromentalists that are fighting for the glaciers are now melting them? How do you think that we got in and out of the ice-age? We didn't cause that! Please, if you have any logical proof, tell me.

I was told that the Lawrence Livermore Lab is going to innitiate this project in 2010 about this new source of energy. They are going to get around 200 lasers and they are going do to fusion. They are going to fire all the lasers at a speck of frozen hydrogen nuclei. They are going to fuse and I heard its going to be a energy source that can power the entire state of California!! Does anyone else have some more info on that??

I hope it doesn't blow up, but I heard that they are taking extra precaution.

I heard that today's construction equipment will be obsolete as of Jan. 2008 in California. The Diesel engines will have to be replaced and/or retrofitted which will be costly. For example, a John Deer 310SE new in 2002 will not be able to be operable in Jan. 2008 because it does not meet E.P.A. equipment standards.
