Where are you now? You dont mind earthquakes? I would not want to live in a place that will break off and sink into the ocean.

I live in northern California, and haven't spent much time in southern, but, no, I wouldn't want to live there -- too hot.
And I'm less fond of beaches that go on forever than I am of cliffs. I LOVE to site on the cliff and watch the wa-wa crashing on the rocks.
I lived right on the coast for 3 years when I was growing up, and LOVED it.
Don't get to the coast so often, but would love to live near it.
Besides, southern cal is too dry -- I like green, trees, etc.

Southern Cali coast is awesome country but due the the constant threat of fires and earthquakes I don't think it is a very good option.

lived there, done that. my goal is to fall into the atlantic during the next big one in Cali. Oh yeah only people in SoCal believe the rest of the US will fall in to the Atlantic everyone else knows it will be Cali that falls into the Pacific.... My question is what did this question have to do with environment or ecology??? HUH?

Move to live? No, I like Northern California WAY better.
I love to visit San Diego though, it's always so nice; but my dad lives there and I've stayed for awhile and it's not THAT nice. Not compared.
The grass isn't always greener!
