Maybe with a satelite or computer? What is it called? How does it work?

Someone just answered a question concerning global warming and included this so-called fact.

"Food is going to be the problem. A 1 degree Fahrenheit average increase would take away about 10% of the food. Since we can't feed everyone on the planet now, how are we going to when theres less food."

Where does this fact come from? Doesn't using such stupid, obviously erroneous facts show how ignorant or naive you must be to be worried about global warming?

In northern VT, when I was a child, winters were longer, snow piled up many feet, and temperatures dropped below zero degrees Fahrenheit many times. Three years ago was the last time my brother was able to go snowmobiling a decent amount of times on the trails (which I think people should find a way to make snowmobiles more environmentally correct!). Last year my brother could only go snowmobiling once on the trails. And this year my brother barely went around our field because the snow came and disappeared within two days. We haven’t had any temperatures that reached below zero this winter at all. This Christmas was the second Christmas without snow in this part of the state’s history. Temperatures were in the high forties, dropped just below freezing for a couple days, and now reached to the high forties and fifties again and it’s in the middle of winter! This is the time of year where temperatures are frigid. What is up with this global warming? There is no snow outside and our ski seasons are shrinking. We are getting rain instead of snow this year!! Why do people deny global warming!!!!

Global Warming is a serious problem we all need to face. I know about it, but let's hear what you think about it, and let's all circulate it!

Putting an AC voltage around a DC battery? How could this relate to the way the earth works and the power we generate on it?

If you think about it before people were crying about global warming they were crying about global cooling which is it Chicken Little? We have been cleaning up this country since the 70's which is good, don't you think the rest of the world like China, South America, Mexico and the rest of the cheep labor countrys need to clean up thier act? Why is it always up to the USA to foot the bill? Al Gore needs to stop wasting jet fuel flying all over the country promoting his bad movie and then we need to stop burning wood which is a big Polluter.

Why did all of the ice in the previous ice ages melt BEFORE there was an age of industrialization? Hmm, now let me see...could it beeeeeeee...natural, non-human causes? Secondly, should that liberal lunatic Al Gore undergo mental therapy (or face a lawsuit) if the above is true and he is wrong? It really seems there's a pattern with him making ludicrous claims, even to the point of claiming to have "invented the Internet." And some of you actually believe in his far-fetched tales? You really don't have to answer all of these questions, but I'd really like to know about the ice ages. Thanks a bunch! :)

It is a known scientific that the output from the sun is greater than it has been in the past 100 plus years and that is what is creating "Global Warming" not only here but also on Mars. The impact of mankind on the phenomenon is negligible. So unless someone can figure out a way to cool the sun down, we just have to live through this latest cycle of "Global Warming" and the earth has through all the others.
