it depends on how big and bad of an ozone generator you are using.
most consumer grade ozone generators, will only create enough ozone, to be a respitory irritant.

larger indusrial models, will cause enough to be deadly if exposed to it long enough.
you will know when it is seriously becoming a problem, because the air will start to irritate your nose and throat.
if it gets to that point, you may want to be concerned.
if i doesn't, and you aren't exposing yourself for serious long periods of time, it should be no big deal.
I wouldn't go exposing yourself to low levels of it for long periods of time, because it is still unclear what adverse health effects lower levels may have, if any.

good rule of thumb when it comes to ozone...if it irritates nose and throat ..beware
and do not invite long-term exposure.

air filters that have it usually aren't pumping enough of it out to be a bother.

High levels of ozone are poisonous just as are many high levels of other gases. Ozone is naturally generated (that lightning smell from a thunderstorm is ozone generated by lightning turning 02 into O3) Many commercial products generate ozone such as ionizers so as long as you are in a well ventilated room unless you are pumping out great quantities I wouldn't worry.

Oxygen in the air we breath is O2, two oxygen molicules. The ozone generator changes it to O3. O3 or ozone is poisonous.

Our bodies can't take ozone, or O3 in as oxygen. They can't breal it down, and you will die of oxygen deprivation, since we need O2 molecules.
