Personally, I choose to be "politically incorrect" and state that I do not believe that the population of the Earth, combined, can make a dent in the natural way of things... 1 major volcano eruption puts out more gasses that contribute to global warming than mankind has made up to this point... We are a lot more insignificant than we believe... The Earth goes through climate changes, random or seasonal, continually...our lifetimes are much too short to make such grand assumptions... Is it possible that things JUST HAPPEN ??? Why does there always have to be a cut&dried answer ???I do feel bad for the Polar bears, and their plight, but it is just the way of things... Here in Indiana, there is much limestone, and you can scarcely pick up a handful of crushed limestone without seeing a fossilized sea creature in it...Things change, like it or not......

No it's not "global warming" as touted by Al Gore. Actually that kind of global warming is bad science, based on assumptions agreed to in the "scientific " community, rather than fact.
What is going on is a very normal climate shift. It has happened before and will happen again, no matter what humans do or don't do. After all one volcano eruption puts out more "emissions" that humans have in the last 100 years.

Not the chic term "global warming." Just the natural warming and cooling cycle of the Earth. People in 1922 were just getting over a world war. They weren't thinking about the cycles of the Earth!

Global warming is a joke ,don't give these people that kind of control over u. I live in Texas and about 2 weeks ago we broke a record low which was 22 deg. F with a new record of 19 deg. F. This record had been for 100 years.

Most people don't think that way unfortunately. With today's politically charged atmosphere, any short-term, regional data is being manipulated to infer that global warming is here.
The only difference back then in the 1920's is that they probably all felt good about the mild winter and were able to sit back and enjoy it instead of being made to feel scared and guilty for simply living.

Global warming is real! What's with the glaciers that we have then. I haven't seen one but I do beleive in it, and if its not who cares, we should be helping the enviroment. My friend is a huge global warmign enthusiast and she got me concerned to, she told me 30% of it is due to americans, and if they all changed their lightbulbs to the energy efficient oens it would save you money and teh earth.
