"Ending the world" might be a bit of a stretch. But yes, global warming is real, and is going to have serious repercussions for future generations here on Earth if we don't take action soon.

We don't know. Although most scientific folks have come around to the idea that we've got global warming happening, no one knows whether it will continue to warm up, or snap into a reverse trend (taking us to the long overdue next ice age) or do something else entirely. They can't even predict tomorrow's weather with much more than 60% accuracy, so why should we think they can predict something that so much more complicated?

Have you ever seen the movie The Day After Tomorrow? It was about a guy who predicted that the planet will be obliterated by global warming in 2,000 years but the guy was wrong and environmental disasters start starting the next day. It is said that it was made to warn us about global warming.

Yes, global warming is a serious problem that the Republicans refuse to investigate (not that I like the Democrats either.) Global warming is discussed in a recent documentary done by Al Gore, "An Inconvenient Truth." It is really scary and informative. Check it out. Believe this.....All the prophesies in the Bible will be fulfilled. Global warming is causing a whole mess of weather and climate problems prophesied thousand of years ago. He is coming. Are you ready???

Define ending? The world will exist for billions of years. Will the world change b/c of warming? Absolutely.

Yes, it is speeding the process that will obsolete man and end his reign on earth. Guys, it was fun while it lasted. My only regret was the way it went down -- Exxon and neocons responsible for earth's destruction.
Peace
