When you go to public toilets or some at a restaurant etc hat is the most environmentally friendly method of hand drying:

electric hand dryer (use electricity)
Paper towels (use paper that cannot be reycled but can be made of recycled materials)
Roller towels (need to be regularly washed prob at high temperature)

They all seem to have good and bad points regarding their environmentally friendlyness. What do you think is best and why

Most people says racial intolerance, religious intolerance, world wars, disease, energy etc. Are they really a threat to mankind?
I dont think so. Why???
Because these will not cause the extinction of human race itself. So the greatest threat will be from the one that causes extinction.
But which one will it be? Is it global warming, asteroid impacts (dinosaur extinction), or something else...

For me, its global warming...

I can’t believe that so many people think that humans are totally responsible for global warming and that we can stop a totally natural process. Can someone tell me how do you propose to stop a phenomenon that been happening for thousands of years?

The Wildlife Department gets huge budget to save these animals. Shouldn't they be more responsible to avoid the man animal conflict. Infact people are encroaching upon the land and putiing themselves at risk. Shouldn't the Govt. work towards making Wildlife police and help these animals? We have got so many animals in the list of being extinct but we actually need to work out a plan and help all these animals. Don't you think that man is the biggest threat to earth ? Why aren't we actually doing anything to help save these animals. The Prime Miister should help these animals out and get NGO's involved to help save them. Though the animals cannot vote but still it our responsibility to help them. All this violence is a threat to mankind. See by destroying our jungles in the name of development we have actually done more harm to the environment. The changes in climate, pollution and the most important thing Water. Live and Help Live

I *rarely* have respiratory problems, and if I do it is in the Spring with allergies. But last winter and this winter in the SF Bay Area I have had both allergy and cold symptoms, I think because the air pollution is so bad here right now because this January we have hardly had any rain and the air is dirty from vehicle emissions and burning wood.
Granted, there is too much dust in my apartment but that will by gone by this Thursday when I have professional cleaners clean my place way better than I do, but the last few weeks I have had to fight off a head cold from moving down into my chest like it did last year.
I think that the local Bay Area media is avoiding covering the terrible winter air quality.

According to the Bush administration, global warming has a good side to it.

CNN broke a story where people under George Bush tried to pressure scientists to make global warming not seem that bad.

On a COMPLETELY unrelated topic, how much stock does the Bush family own in petroleum?
