This website really helps! See all the ads on the homepage? Those are the businesses that fund to save the rainforests, and in return they get a place to put their ad and get more businuess.

If we continue to destroy the rainforests, we'll all be dead in 50 years, no kidding. It contributes A LOT to global warming. Think of your kids and grandchildren.

No, we won't. Though there will be less trees there, there are more trees elsewhere, which balances it out. There are more trees now than there were before any trees in the rain forest were cut. Trees put out CO2, therefore logically IF global warning were true it would be a good thing to cut down the rain forest. It is all bunk.
Now if you want a real reason to save the rain forest...there are potentially thousands of viruses we have never encountered and maybe even cures in the rain forest that may be lost if it is. Maybe even a cure for whatever is ailing someone you love.

Yes, I'm going to the closet to get my raincoat and boots.

Seriously, I'm too old to go, and too poor to contribute. It is something that must be done, though. I would donate time to a non-profit for this cause.
