Scientists involved in the production of ethanol say that it can be done cheaper and faster using alternatives to corn cobs. What do you think?

The production may only include pieces of the greater whole. Currently there is 10% ethanol in gasoline now. Ramping that up from companies such as ExxonMobile will be better, as they already have the production & transport services integrated and streamlined. We'll have to wait and see if cellulosic becomes a trusted means, and the big companies are probably the ones to point it out first with a surge of production.

Sure, it's a lot cheaper and you can grow switchgrass on land unsuited for other crops, and with little water.

It will be coming.
