renewable resources are those resources which we can use again & again after some modification like paper,cans of softdrink etc..
non _........ are those resources which we can not use again & again they r only for use & throw like polybags,glass etc.....

Oil is non-renewable
Trees are renewable
Hydro is renewable
Wind, tide geo-thermal, and solar energy sources are all renewable
Coal is non-renewable
Oil and coal are fossil fuels, and in using them up, there is nothing to replace them. They are dead.
Trees take time to renew. The trees they logged when I was a child: you could fit four or five logs onto a logging truck. The trees that are logged today: about thirty logs can fit onto the same sized truck. So it's an iffy thing to say it's renewable. It's theoretically renewable. They are alive. A chicken could be considered a renewable resource. It lays eggs.
Hydro, solar, tide and geothermal are all forces of nature, and appear to be constant. They are not alive, and are not really renewable. They are the same all the time. It's just a matter of harnessing them.
There was also some kind of machine invented by Nicholai Tesla, but I'm not sure how it worked.

renewable resources:they are the resources which can be regained after use and doesn't extinct.ex,water,air,....
non-renewable resources:resources which can't be re-obtained after use.when they are continuously used, they will be extinct.
ex,natural fuels,mineral resources,.....
but both of them are produced by nature and may be extinct when used in a very large amount.

renewable sources are those which can be regenerated in the universe ex: water. non renewable sources are thse which cannot be regenerated in the universe ex petroleum
