I have to take a foreign language (and I'm not exactly an A/B student). My mom said Latin because it would help with Language Arts and vocabulary, and it's not exactly "conversational". My friends and a teacher from last year (that happened to overhear this conversation with my friends and who happens to be the Spanish teacher) said Spanish would be easier. Some realistic advice please!

Virginia schools have a rule that does not allow touching of any kind.. no handshakes, no hugs, no pats on the back.. nothing...

Their reasons seem to be that SOME handshakes are gang signs.. too many students gathering to do HIGH FIVEs in the hallways causes congestion..

I think that the schools should deal with their problems and not restrict the students choice of expression.

I mean when kids have their schedules and its past "peak" times, how often does a counselor counsel students on an average day and what do they do workwise when they're not discussing schedule, careers or scholarships?

I'm gonna be a senior, soon to graduate. But what's the point of it I mean, like high school is so easy...... what's there to be proud about? To me graduating COLLEGE is something to celebrate to go to real life and get a job. High School is like ehhh still go to college..... whats there to celebrate u lose bunch friends etc.

I am moving and starting a new high school. At the moment I am homeschooled so I already changed my high school on myspace to match the noe I will be going to so I can try to meet more people. But on the school forum boards should I go ahead and post and introduce myself or not? I'm shy so I would NEVER make a board about myself. Just need a little bit of advice on what to do in this situation.
