I'm moving to a new school, but every one has tons of skills at this school like tieing knots, beat boxing, hacking, photo shop skills, dancing, one kid has a gun, acting, running and they all have really nice phones.

HEY EDUCATORS....THESE KIDS GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL...NOT FROM COLLEGE AND NOT FROM GRAD SCHOOL...

I APPRECIATE THE SENTIMENT....BUT THIS IS STRAIGHT UP BS!!!

A HS DIPLOMA IS LIKE THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR AS FAR AS GETTING A JOB. PEOPLE ARE HAVING TO GET MASTERS DEGREES NOW JUST TO COMPETE...BACHELOR DEGREES ARE ALMOST A GIVEN....

WHY PUT SOOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THE HS DEILPOMA WHEN YOU CAN GET YOUR GED, OR AN ASSOCIATES AND STILL GET YOUR BACHELORS????

YES IT IS GOOD TO GET..I WILL NOT DOWNPLAY IT COMPLETELY...BUT SERIOUSLY....THIS IS MORE CHILDISH AND IMMATURE THAN THE KIDS EARNING THEM!!!!

As a member of parent council, I was thinking of suggesting that the school have a school carnival but am not sure how much work it is nor how expensive it is? I haven't been to one since I was a kid (ages ago!) so don't really remember what they have there. Are there websites that help give ideas?

I was just told I will not graduate from high school. I have no idea what to do. Would anyone please tell me what options I may have at this point? I'm also very afraid to tell my parents and family, I feel like a complete failure, please help!

This is the stupidest question ever, but don't laugh - would it count as failing the whole year if you have failed just one term? If it does, is there any way to get back that credit without going to summer school? It has no air con and I am suspected to have borderline ADD (I just killed my arm in class from boredom, I don't think I'll last for summer school).

I'm in Scarborough, if that makes any difference.

the tasks tests are certain tests kids have to pass in order to go to next grade level. like math reading. i just think its unfair. then tese schools wants the kids to go to summer school just to retake the tests for the 3rd time.
