This is the stupidest question ever, but don't laugh - would it count as failing the whole year if you have failed just one term? If it does, is there any way to get back that credit without going to summer school? It has no air con and I am suspected to have borderline ADD (I just killed my arm in class from boredom, I don't think I'll last for summer school).

I'm in Scarborough, if that makes any difference.

Okay, I don't think I phrased that properly; what I meant was:

Got 49 on math in ONE term of the year. Passed all the other terms. Because of that failed one term, does that mean I have failed the whole math course and will not get the credit?

This is in Dr. Norman Bethune CI, if anyone knows the policy there?

This goes by terms, not semesters.

That depends on your grades in the other terms and your school's policy. In most cases, as long as your average grade for the entire course is passing, then you pass the course, so if you got high enough grades the other terms to balance out the failing grade, then you might well be fine. But you should ask someone in your school administration or your guidance counselor to be sure.

You failed half the year. You should have to make up that semester. ADD is not an excuse it is a challenge.
