Do Secondary students in the UK worry about school violence?

Are you aware of the violence here in the USA? What are your thoughts about this?

Hello Elaine, my son Daniel attends secondary school, he is almost 14. there was a time when I feared for his safety, but not any more because he attends martial arts classes and has become really good at it, he has grown in confidence as well as height, (6ft 2in) and still growing. Of course, in your country, you have the added concern of guns but I fear the UK is catching up with you. All the best sweetheart and take care.
