I work full-time, attend college classes full-time and have a part time internship. ->It's a pretty hectic schedule, so I was wondering if anyone can offer a few simple pointers or suggestions how I can stay organized and stay ahead of the game? <-This particular semester isn't neccessarily difficult, but there is a lot of work involved, with many assignments. I'm more concerned about keeping organized with my schoolwork without getting stressed out.

->Is anyone else carrying the same kind of schedule? How do you cope without going insane?<-

I'm on my fourth year of Spanish, and I'm really done with the usually required 2-3 years of foreign language units that colleges require. I'm really busy outside of school and want to drop foregin language to get an early dismissal for my senior year. Yet, I feel like this will make me look bad for college admission. What's your opinion on my situation?

Okay..so my Financial Aid got a little screwed up and I won't be able to obtain my books for like another 2-4 weeks.. I was wondering if there are any websites where you can view textbook pages online for free? Possibly even print? Either one will work... This will help me out a lot since I don't have my textbooks yet.. Thanks!! =]

do what grades you got in college matter or only if you got your degree or not? Specifically do employers care if you had high grades or not?

I would like some suggestions on what colleges I should apply to... I have a very strong background in the sciences (I will have Chem I, Chem II AP, Bio I, Bio II AP, and Physics I and Science Technology I all out the way by graduation) and would potentially like to major in Genetics, or some other major similar to that. I had decent ACT/ SAT scores, (26, and 1720 respectively). I am really active within the school community (President of Band, President of the Gay-Straight Alliance, Captain of the science UIL team, President of the Student Leader Ship Council, President of the French Club, President of the French Honor Society, Member of the National Honor Society, Member of the UIL Ready Writing team and Member of the UIL Lit Crit team). I don't really care too much where the college/university is located, for me, education takes precedence over location. So, as I said, I would love suggestions, personal experiences, reasoning etc. Please, just honest opinions. No rude comments. Thx

My homeschool program was unaccredited. I don't have a High School diploma or G.E.D.

I want to go to a University. What do I need in order to go to a university? Can I go to a college if I have a G.E.D?

I was told I can go to a community college. Will that help me? How? If, so what would I need to do there? Can I take courses to help prepare me for college. And take a S.A.T or A.C.T?

Can I go in and tell them I want to go to college, and they will help me? Who would I need to take to?

Where is the best place I can go to get information about this???

Basically, any information you can give me, I will appreciate(I'm desperate!)

I have to write a paper for my college english class. It is about one of our fellow classmates. She wants us to take a different route with the papers, meaning not just an essay about their life. So the interesting thing i found out about her is that she has been swimming since she was like 2 so i have to use swimming as a perspective to basically tell about her life. I dont know how i could possibly start it so can you help?

I'm a senior in high school and I'm about to start my college application process. My school doesn't allow facial percings, but I have a lip ring. Usually at school I put a stud in and no one really notices so I havn't gotten in trouble. I went to a school dance with a lip ring and it was on a boat, and I didn't want to take it out. I couldn't get off the boat or anything and the ring isn't healed, so I kept it in. The principal suspended me for that. My GPA isn't very hot, but it is above a 3.2. Do you think this would really mess up my chances of getting into college? I really want to go to Loyola Marymount in LA.

I am a junior in college and am contemplating whether or not i should try to get into a top mba program like berkeley, stanford, or ucla right after i graduate. Thus far, i have a 4.0 GPA, worked as a shift manager in a food restaurant, worked as an accountant, and have done clubs and community service. I will be taking my GMAT in my junior year. I am getting a degree in accounting so i know i can get a job after i graduate, but my goal is to own my business or run a successful company, and i know i could do that with an MBA degree. Someone told me that it will be extremely difficult to get into a top school, even though i do have a good gpa, but i dont have work experience. Is this true? If i work as an accountant for a couple of years will this increase my chances of getting in? I am so confused on what to do: Should i pursue my dream in getting an MBA right after i graduate or should i work and hope i could still get my MBA? Thanks for any advice or opinions!
