Does it impact the decision if I disclose my race/gender. I know alot of colleges have started incorporating racial quotas and that could impact my acceptance (especially if my grades are only slightly above the previous class's middle 50).

Will disclosing my race/gender help or hurt my acceptance chance?

in business for instance? Or could you go to a D-3 school and still make a successful business? I'm highly innovative and intelligent, but I don't know if I really want to attend those larger schools.

I am a very ambitious student, and very involved in my school, such as leadership, clubs, community and sports. I am also an avid writer and take AP classes. ( I passed my history with a three) My g.p.a. isn't perfect; a 3.7 weighted, and I will have at least a 1800 on my SAT's (hopefully) lol. I want to major in film as a script writer. So, is this good enough? What else should I be doing to increase my chances?

I just graduated from a comm. college and realized I pretty much wasted my time and now I want to go to a four year school. I've already got accepted and everything but I was just wondering how they do scheduling. Since I really want to catch up, I want to take 15-18 credit hours but I wasn't sure if you were allowed to do so as a freshman. Also, how does your financial aid work when you take that many credit hours? Is there a certain limit they will pay for or what? Thanks!

recently i got a mail invitation to Whos who among american highschool students and after a while accepted me in it, they say they have noticed my good grades and hard work in school. After being accepted they say i am now eligible to compete for 61 scholarships. i have never heard of it so i dont know if it is really impressive to be accepted in it. Should i be proud of myself for this? i mean i am already proud to be in it but should i be as proud as if i got accepted to a great university? How important is this acceptance? How hard is it to get into this who's who program? Should i feel honored that i am accepted or does all the high school students with at least decent grades are able to be accepted?

i know i asked a lot of questions and most of them are similar, i just wanted to let you guys fully understand what im trying to ask, you guys can just sum up all my questions into one. Thank you for giving me your knowledge

I really really want to get into Princeton and major in Business. Please give me any advice you have.

I'm a freshman at a private school with a GPA of 3.7. I sing, practice piano, and hopefully will start lyrical dancing soon. I was in student council and was student president in my middle school. My uncle is a CEO of his own company and 75% of my family has their own business and are landlords.

What can I do to become a CEO? Even though i'm a freshman, I'm really starting to worry about my future. Please help!

I have been looking for an online degree program, undergraduate BS in accounting, but have found little. The ones I found are online colleges like university of pheonix, or devry. I am trying to find a state or a campus college which offers BS in accounting because usually tuition is cheaper. Another important factor I have in mind, is the school known for accounting program. I want to be able to grab a decent job after graduating.

When you studied in college, what did you study? Was it difficult? What was your job outlook after graduating? I am curious because i am going back to school in Jan. and I dont know weather i want to study Biology or ecconomics. Kind of different areas, but i thought either would probably open up some doors.

I really messed up my freshmen year, I had an overall gpa of 2.3. Sophomore year I got on track and my gpa slowly started to raise and at the end of the year i had a 2.7. Junior year I really picked it up with 4.0's and an ap class. Every summer since freshmen year I have been taking summer school. At the end of my junior year my gpa raised to what it is now. Over the years I show a lot of progress. I have a 25 on my act and I played soccer for two years. I love the south and I know I want to go to schools there so i was wondering with my grades and stuff if I would be able to get into Clemson, University of South Carolina, College of Charleston, or University of North Carolina Wilmington. I still have senior year to raise my gpa but my gpa now is what really matters. So please tell me if I have a chance or if you know of some other big southern schools I will be able to get in to.

I received my doctorate in business admin majoring in management. The University tells me I can receive another Doctorate in International Business with a few more classes that I am already enrolled in. I can finish them and another dissertation by October. Would it seem fishy to an employer if someone received two doctorate within the same year?

Since I was academically disqualified from Cal Poly, I have considered changing majors. I just started at a community college that has TAG agreements, and is on the quarter system. I want to transfer out at the end of this year, as it would be my junior year fall 2008.. Would it be easier for me to reapply at Cal Poly, as a biochemistry major, or should I just apply at other schools, possibly a UC?

Also, what would be a good school that has a good biochem program, but is not so hard to get into?
