recently i got a mail invitation to Whos who among american highschool students and after a while accepted me in it, they say they have noticed my good grades and hard work in school. After being accepted they say i am now eligible to compete for 61 scholarships. i have never heard of it so i dont know if it is really impressive to be accepted in it. Should i be proud of myself for this? i mean i am already proud to be in it but should i be as proud as if i got accepted to a great university? How important is this acceptance? How hard is it to get into this who's who program? Should i feel honored that i am accepted or does all the high school students with at least decent grades are able to be accepted?

i know i asked a lot of questions and most of them are similar, i just wanted to let you guys fully understand what im trying to ask, you guys can just sum up all my questions into one. Thank you for giving me your knowledge

It certainly isn't a bad thing -- not everyone gets invited. But the primary purpose of the books is to sell copies to people whom they accept.

However, getting accepted to a great university is a greater achievement.

It's a marketing solicitation. Acceptace to it is not very important. I guess being a victim of a marketing scheme is not really something remarkable. However, you should definitely feel proud for finishing highschool, finishing with good grades, being accepted to a good university and a good program.
BTW: Fastweb is a monster search engine that does an amazing scholarship search and it doesn't cost you a penny.

i got accepted and so did alot of other people i know so i doubt its that special. I think its just way to make money by having you buy stuff from them. i got a similar thing in the mail my freshman year in college for getting good grades but it went right into the trash can

Well I got accepted to this thing too, but it is not related to the Marquis Who's Who, and therefore is not prestigious. It may even be a scam. I never replied to my letter of acceptance, so I can't help much sorry.

The Buddhists tutor this. you in basic terms learn how to permit. it is honestly a deeper prepare than what Christianity teaches ("provide it as much as God" or "place the crown at His ft"). this is the popularity that existence IS, in basic terms & inspite of what we do, say or think of approximately it. If somebody feels compelled to grant you a contemporary, you are able to desire to thank them yet interior you agree for the allowance as this is. This finally reaches a component the place there is not any could desire to sense proud as there is not something this is to be in comparison with (solid vs. undesirable, prefer vs. disfavor, etc.). one way that early Christian priests spoke back with such gifting is to return the present of advantages. in basic terms replying "Bless you". i desire this permits. advantages
