It's already my second year of college and I haven't made one friend. I'm so miserable being here now that I just want to go back home and never set foot on a college campus again. Ok, so I email clubs for information, ALL of the ones I was interested in were outdated. Originally was on the XC team, only lasted a few days because of health issues, and I've only made enemies from the team because I'm not running. I spend all of my time either in my dorm, class, and 3-4 hours a day in the library. I have tried so hard in the last few months to improve my communication skills and read so many articles and books it's crazy, but nothing helped. No matter where I go or what I do, I just cannot talk to people. All through elementary school I had to take special classes for this issue as well, of course that never helped. I'm perfectly normal other than this, but it's really getting to me. Is there any room for improvement, or am I screwed for life? Thanks in advance!

With senior year starting I'm such a nervous wreck. College applications and whatnot are just stressing me out soo much! So, heres my story go head and call me stupid or whatever you want but I really need help. When school started off (freshman year) I just really wasn't into school at all. While I really enjoy learning I just couldn't focus. I got Ds and Cs and Bs. As sophomore year approched I still tried and got Cs and Bs. Then, junior year I took a few honors classes got Bs in all honors classes and two Cs. Senior year, I am trying so hard. I have 3 honors classes and I promised myself to do my best, although you might say it doesn't matter anymore. I took the SATs once and got around 1500-1510. I am going to take the SATs once or twice more. What do I do?! Applying for colleges is more hectic for me than any other senior I know. I am interested in biomedical scienes, biology, and anatomy. I know I will do great in the future but right now I really dont know what I should do. help

If I drop out of a community college after the third week, will this remain on my permanent record should I decide to apply at a real college? How bad will this hurt my chances of getting into a state college?

I'm a sophomore in high school and last year i did good in all regular classes so this year i decided to take 3 honor classes.. one of them including chemistry involving science fair which i didn't do last year. So i was wondering if getting into a good college involve if you took honor classes. Should just stick to my honor classes or drop to normal classes?

the book is $77 and it's already USED. i am taking 3 classes, so all the three books will sum up to about $300. my question is, if i borrow the book of my classmates and then type it on a web blog, will it be agaist the law even if i mention the author's name, ISBN, publisher, year and title? --------- i am not on financial aid, grants, or anything. i pay everything in school from my own pocket and i'm working 70 hours a week with only $8/hr and go to school for 30 more hours. i barely sleep. the school do not want to grant me anything because i can work. i tried for two consecutive years to get in FAFS, but they think i am making enough. and also, i am not that intelligent to be a scholar. please help.

I go to Baruch College in NYC, and next semester i will have to announce my major. I narrowed down my choice from marketing, finance, and accounting. Im leaning more to more towards marketing and finance, accounting is my last pick, because of the dryness of work( so i heard) , but what is the best major to get a job with right after college? i have to pick now, because i will have to do internships, that have to do with my major. Marketing sounds like the most fun job, but less paying, finance jobs are something in between, accounting i heard is high paying but boring , so ?

I really don't like sports. They're just not appealing to me. I want to get into a good university (SFSU to be exact) but I've just been worrying that not have played any sports will bring me down in the long haul.

Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

I am trying to determine the size of this nursing college at this university.

for some reason the nursing college staff are suspicious about telling me the exact number inside their campus who are nursing students.

I am looking to attend there, but wanted to figure out roughly the size of it, and be able to imagine the class sizes , etc.

they replied back only that they have 68 intakes twice per year for adult care nursing and 26 intakes twice per year for mental health care.

several people have told me that if you take the total number of intakes they take each year by the number of years for their program , then you can determine their approximate number of nursing students at their college.

and if ANYONE CAN PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THIS INFORMATION WOULD BE CONFIDENTIAL, IT WOULD HELP MY SANITY HERE!!

THANKS!!
