I really don't like sports. They're just not appealing to me. I want to get into a good university (SFSU to be exact) but I've just been worrying that not have played any sports will bring me down in the long haul.

Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

Not important at all. Just be sure to indicate the extracurricular activities you participated in. They do like to see some of those, and if you held any offices in the organizations or activities you participated in (i.e. president of chess club; secretary of the future farmers of America).

Good universities want well rounded students. It is important for you to be involved in outside activities -- but it doesn't have to be a sport.

None of the CSU schools are particularly selective (or, in my opinion, very good) -- so it will matter less for a schools like SFSU. My advice is that if you are good enough to get into one of the UC schools -- go there instead of SFSU.

It does not actually matter variety in case you play extreme college. It extra concerns of what form of rec league you play. i did no longer play extreme college softball because of the fact i did no longer have adequate with my aggressive softball crew i grew to become into on and that i nonetheless went to college and have been given a scholarship for softball.

Not really ... they are looking for organized activities and if you pursue what interest you.

They basically want to know if you have an idea of what it takes to be apart of something greater than yourself.

As long as you're active in other extracurriculars, not having any sports isn't a huge deal. (Remember, if everyone could do it, they wouldn't give out huge scholarships for it.)
