So I went to the first day of physics class today and to my UTTER dismay, the teacher gives a seating chart on the day of an exam. Of course this wouldn't otherwise be a problem, but in this case there are about 3-4 hot girls in the class, and I REALLY don't want to be seated near any of them on exam days cause I seriously can not focus on a test if there's a hot girl nearby. So, should I ask the professor (who is young, and female) to not seat me next to any girls on exam days, or should I drop the class? I would ask, but I don't know if the reason for the specific seating would be inappropriate to tell. Does anyone have any predictions as to whether the professor would find this appropriate for me to say?

My goal is to become a vet, but with the schools being so limited i'm nervous about getting in. I understand that you need four years of school and then another 4 years of veterinary school. I live in New York so ofcourse I would want to attend Cornell but i think that's a little bit of a stretch since it's so hard to get into (I'll try my hardest anyway though) so I was thinking about the universit of maryland at college park. I have not taken my SAT's but I do expect it to be at a minimum of 1200. Will I have a chance if I do really well my first four years of college?

I was also wondering if they would look at my highschool transcript, not that it's bad but the only AP classes i will have are physics and bio. thanks in advance!

Ok so I understand that you should take at least 2 foreign languages to get into a UC school. I have taken Japanese 1 and Chinese 1 and aced both of them. It's just the fact that I have terrible memory that is causing problems for me. Now I'm in Spanish 1 because I have already forgotten almost all the Japanese and Chinese that I once knew. I'm not sure which language to take, whether to attempt Chinese 2 or to restart with Spanish 1. I am currently a sophomore in highschool hoping to enter a UC school after I graduate.

Do colleges really want to see that you did extra activities in school and after. Even if you have amazing grades. Like if I applied to a good college ivy leage what ever and I had straight A's and never did sports or anything after school would they still accept me or does the after school stuff really help a lot. If I had decend grades not amazing and I did a lot of sports like basketball and baseball, some after school clubs, community service, and in school activities like filming for sports game would that help out a lot. Basicly what I am asking is that are the sports, after school clubs and community service really important to my college application?

College is based on facts and books, so why not buy the books and teach yourself? I met a few ppl with no degree who make more money than others. Some even with no diploma or GED...so whats the deal? I'm going to college now, but seems I may be wasting my money.
