Oh yes, I agree. If the fence is 7 or 8 ft. high, and wraps entirely around my house so I don't have to see or talk to them, except for to wave or nod at them as I am getting into my car to leave! I would say that would make a great neighbor! Whoo Hoooo

High Fences Make Good Neighbors

Good fences make good neighbors because they know that they cannot cross the line without going over your fence. Privacy is really important in a neighborly relationship. Neighbors knowing they have boundaries eliminate problems and if you have renters beside you like I do a call to the landlord is apropos if they get to rowdy.

No fences make good neighbors

Good fences make so-so neighbors

If you are a girl and live in a house with a guy and he doesn't respect your privacy and you have to hang blankets, you have a problem and the two of you should be living together.

If your neighbors are good to begin with, a fence ain't gonna make 'em any better neighbors than they already are.

BUT.................

If you have bad neighbors, a fence can make them 'good' neighbors ...........in your mind at least.
